TREE HOUSE POD

A sleeping pod treehouse, with reasonable distance from the restroom facilities, was designed to shelter the homeless. It is a temporary transitional space; it is the first step towards resocialization.
It is an open form structure designed to enable a connection with nature and bring awareness to society about the homeless issue.
Trees provide the groundwork and bases for the house structure, minimizing footprint and avoiding site disturbance.
The material for the PODs is cardboard and resin, a honeycomb structure that is lightweight, portable and  durable.
