On this project, a renovation started from the stair. The stair was revealed as a self-supporting concrete structure. The wall underneath the stair was demolished to integrate spaces. The original wrought-iron railings were kept, and the stair received a cement finish. The wall next to the stairs was peeled off to reveal the old bricks. The old and the new coexist in harmony, bringing a contemporary language with reference to the past.
